I’m Thijs, a passionate windsurfer, instructor, and Dutch expat now living my dream under the Spanish sun.

Born and raised in the Netherlands, I spent most of my days chasing the wind on cold, choppy lakes. Windsurfing became more than just a hobby, it was my way of feeling alive, free, chill, and connected to nature. After teaching in the Netherlands, I decided it was time to follow the wind south.

Now based in Jerez de la Frontera, I’ve found the perfect blend of strong, consistent wind and warm water. I offer lessons to beginners who want to try the sport for the first time, as well as to more experienced riders looking to improve their technique, all in a relaxed, fun, and safe environment.

Whether you’re here for a holiday or living in Spain yourself, I’d love to get you on the water and share the beautiful sport of windsurfing with you. Lessons are available in Dutch, English, and Spanish, so no matter where you’re from, we’ll catch the wind together.
